Privacy & visitor tracking
The Dustin Report uses first-party, cookie-free audience measurements to count page views and estimate visitors. These private measurements help us understand which pages people read and which websites refer readers.
For each page view, our server briefly processes your network address and browser identifier to create a one-way, keyed visitor code that changes for each reporting period. We do not save the raw address or browser identifier in our analytics database. We save page paths, referring website domains, counts, and short-lived random event identifiers—not search text, full referring addresses, or names.
Visitor and event codes are automatically removed during subsequent tracking requests after their short retention period (approximately two to three days). Detailed page and referral counts are retained for approximately four days, and daily totals for approximately one month. Our hosting provider may separately maintain operational and security logs.
We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also turn off measurements for this browser below. Only that preference is stored on your device; no analytics cookies or persistent browser tracking identifiers are used.
Measurements are allowed unless your browser sends a privacy signal.
Counts are estimates, not exact numbers of people. Shared networks, multiple devices, blocked tracking, automated traffic, and the site owner's visits can affect them. Publisher links take you to other websites with their own privacy practices.
